Vegan Bakery Choco Cookies Vegan

Updated: Jan 30, 2021

Today I would like to present you the Vegan Bakery Choco Cookies in a 200g pack.

While I am not a great cookie fan (I generally don´t like cookies to much), everyone else in my family and many of my friends love these when we meet for a coffee or so. They are the perfect snack for afternoon tea or whenever you fancy a chocolate cookie! I guess it´s worth to point out that both vegans and non vegans love them.

As I mentioned they come in 200g plastic packaging. The good feature is that the packaging is resealable, so that they stay crunchy even if you don´t finish them in one day. We found that the seal works quite well. We have kept them open for a week and they still tasted fantastic!

They also don´t have too many ingredients, which is always a good sign. I generally try to buy food/snacks/sweets with less ingredients, as this can mean that the ingredients used are of good quality and the recipe is good as not a lot of chemical/artificial ingredients are required.

This is the list of ingredients:

Wheat flour, palm oil, sugar, brown sugar, cocoa mass, soy flour, hazelnuts, glucose-fructose-syrup, cocoa butter, low fat cocoa powder, salt, emulsifier (soy lecithin – E 322), raising agent (ammonium bicarbonate – E 503ii).

As they contain soy and nuts, they are not suitable for anyone with a nut or soy allergy. It is worth pointing out that they contain palm oil. However, I did some research and it appears that they are certified by the RSPO as they use palm oil from sustainable sources! So there is no need to have a bad feeling when eating these cookies.

The manufacturer is Coppenrath bakery from Germany.
